Research Interest

My interests range from analysis, geometry and foundations of mathematics, with main focus being the study of flat geometry particularly translation surfaces and their links to dynamical systems, under Dr. Martin Schmoll, Associate Professor at Clemson.

Hobbies: In my spare time I like contesting chess tournament in a casual setting, @ lichess (Hmj14).I also have strong ties to Ethiopian traditions and would love to cook injera, learn amharic or do anything Ethiopian together with friends.
